Certificate Enrollment for Easy Service Access
Certificate Enrollment for Chrome OS (Certificate Request) is a free, open-source software to request certificates from Google, also known as the Certificate Authority (CA). It is developed by the folks at Google and Peculiar Ventures and is distributed under an Apache license.
As a first step, you'll need to install the software on your computer. Once it is installed, you'll be able to request a certificate on your device.
Installation
Once you open the app, you'll be able to install it on your device and request a certificate for your device.
Requesting Certificates
In order to request a certificate, you need to provide the device's IMEI number, which will be used to identify the device. In order to provide the IMEI number, you need to use Google Assistant, which will allow you to send the number to the device by voice.
After you provide the device's IMEI number, you'll be able to provide the password for your account, which will be used to request the certificate.
After providing your account password, you'll be able to provide the certificate's serial number, the certificate's expiration date and time, and the certificate's SHA-1 hash. The certificate's SHA-1 hash will be used to verify that the certificate is yours.
